Originally from Widnes, Cheshire, my journey has been a tapestry of diverse experiences and passions. I studied English Literature at Leeds University, where I nurtured my love for storytelling and the written word. Following my graduation, I moved back to the North West and embarked on a successful 20-year career in structural engineering. This period of my life was marked by precision, creativity, and the satisfaction of building tangible structures that stand the test of time.
However, the call of my creative roots remained ever-present. After two decades in engineering, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my true passion, art. This transition allowed me to blend my technical background with my artistic vision, resulting in a unique style that bridges the gap between the analytical and the imaginative.
My work often explores the intersection of structure and fluidity, mirroring my own journey from the rigidity of engineering to the freedom of artistic expression. Through my art, I strive to evoke emotions, tell stories, and connect with viewers on a profound level. Each piece is a testament to the harmony between precision and creativity, reflecting my diverse background and the endless possibilities that arise when we follow our true calling.
